About

In 1984 I set up a workshop to make ‘Formatures’ with the aid of a Crafts Council ‘Setting Up’ Grant awarded in 1984. My first commission was for a bird table, and since then  the studio,  named, ‘Blue Giraffe Workshops’ has gone from strength to strength, producing Bird table, Weather-vane, Sundials, Fountain, Radiators and  Wax Illuminaire, mostly to commission. The pieces are made from non-ferrous metals, silver with stone, board, paint and glass. My images have been influenced by the architecture and technology that I see around me, combined with eclectic use of romantic motif from past eras .
